As I’ve mentioned before, I believe in transparency, freedom of information and full autonomy with your life and belongings, so I’ve got some 3d printed tools and ideas available here for free, I do ask that you not sell these, if you want to make them and give them to your friends or other members of the Mercedes community, Seadoo community or any group involved with the things that I make videos about on the TrythisTV Youtube channel.
I’ll gradually add more items to this page as time goes on, as well as post these designs to various print sharing websites.
Seadoo 717 Leakdown test plates:
These can be used to block off the intake under the carb and the exhaust after the manifold to track down bad crank seals, leaky gaskets or other issues that could be making your 717 Seadoo run poorly.
I used some 1/16″ thick foam as a sealer, but also made a version with o-ring seals, but had difficulty getting the o-rings to seal.

Seadoo RXP/RXT Ride plate hole fillers:
These are designed to fill the holes in the ride plate on a RXP like the seadon’t which many say decreases drag and thus increases top speed and acceleration. I made grooves so some glue like 3m 5200 or jb weld type product could be injected in and allowed to cure, but allow for easier removal versus filling the entire hole with jb-weld or another adhesive like is commonly done.
7 Pin Trailer plug holder:
This was designed to keep the 7 pin trailer wire up and out of the way on my equipment trailer, Oftentimes these plugs end up in the dirt, where the pins can corrode and then you have issues with your lights or brakes. Not ideal. This model has a hole in the bottom to allow for any liquid to drain out, and 2 holes for mounting screws to attach to the tongue of your trailer.
