This thing has been incredibly useful, and has held up incredibly well. The only real big downside is the dies are all marked in square millimeters (mm2) rather than a more traditional AWG or such, perhaps I could blame that on the US government for not adopting metric, but the fact is, a simple chart solves this dilemma, and here is that chart:
AWG | MM2 |
20 | 0.5 |
18 | 0.75 |
17 | 1 |
16 | 1.5 |
14 | 2.5 |
12 | 4 |
10 | 6 |
8 | 10 |
6 | 16 |
4 | 25 |
2 | 35 |
1 | 50 |
1/0 | 55 |
2/0 | 70 |
3/0 | 95 |
4/0 | 120 |
Thanks so much!
